Activities around Riva del Sole Hotel & SPA – Castiglione della Pescaia (Grosseto)

ACDL is a scientific course — the residential setting also offers participants an opportunity to experience Tuscany between lectures and scientific sessions.

Three of the most beautiful free beaches in Tuscany are in Grosseto.

1. 𝐋𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 (Le Rocchette, Castiglione della Pescaia – Grosseto). Tuscan charm.
The beach runs for kilometres with crystal-clear water, a fine white beach with a pine forest behind it, a marvel! Scenic beach with the rocky promontory at the back and the castle overlooking the sea.

2. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 (Cala Violina, Località Puntone di Scarlino – Grosseto) Enchanted sand.

3. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞 (Marina di Alberese, Maremma Park, Grosseto). You get there by walking through the Maremma Park, foxes and wild boars watch you, and then you find yourself alone on a long, wild beach.
